 My name is Erika Pharand and I’m a Dietitian-Nutritionist in private practice. I am a graduate of the University of Ottawa and a member of the Order of Dietitians-Nutritionists of Quebec (ODNQ), the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO) and Dietitians of Canada (DC), as well as a certified personal trainer.

Nutrition is a complex field, where there are many nuances, and each individual has their own particularities. My practice reflects who I am: dedicated, practical, and passionate.

I offer a professional, bilingual nutrition consulting service. My mission is to guide you, support you, enrich your knowledge, equip you, motivate you and coach you, whatever your goal. My goal is to help you find personalized solutions tailored to your needs, to ensure long-term, sustainable success.

Everyone has unique nutritional needs, food preferences and health conditions. That’s why it’s essential to tailor an approach that works best for you, whether it’s an eating plan, an intuitive approach, specific coaching, or something else.     What is a Registered Dietitian/
    Nutritionist?

      A Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist is a health expert specializing in nutrition and diet, who can help you achieve your nutritional needs and goals.

      In Canada, to practise as a dietitian, you need a 4-year bachelor’s degree in nutrition and approximately 1,400 hours of supervised internship. In addition, you must be a member of the College of Dietitians of the province in which you practise. The title “dietitian” is protected across Canada, while the title “nutritionist” is protected in Alberta, Quebec, and Nova Scotia.
